Need help filing your tax return?

The IRS sponsors volunteer-staffed tax preparation with IRS certified counselors, VITA. We can help with most returns that are not excessively complicated. Our target audience are folks with low to moderate income. No appointment required!

Volunteers will be available every Friday from 10 AM - 4 PM in Cook Library room 262A (2nd Floor South) starting January 31st through April 4th.

To complete your 2024 returns please bring:

• Government Issued Photo ID   &   Prior Year Tax Return
• Social Security Card(s)/ITIN for each person on return
• All income documents (W2, 1099R, Social Security Statement, etc.)
• Bank Routing & Account Number for Direct Deposit of Refund
• IRS 2024 Identity PIN Letter/Number 
• Affordable Care Act Marketplace Form 1095A
